Transition to Adulthood Study

Cincinnati Children’s is conducting a research study in partnership with the Spina Bifida Coalition of Cincinnati to learn more about the difficulties and supports that impact individuals with spina bifida who are transitioning from pediatric to adult care. Teens with spina bifida at least 14 years old, adults with spina bifida, and their caregivers may be eligible to participate. If you agree to participate, you will be asked to complete some basic demographic surveys online. Welcome Alexis Allen to SBCC Staff

SBCC is happy to announce that we have hired Alexis Allen as a Communications Assistant. Alexis will be working 5 hours a week providing support to Rhonda and Diane with social media posts, the bi-weekly E-News, the Spina Bifida Awareness Month campaign, and other communication duties. As a self-advocate with spina bifida, providing input on adult programming will also be part of her job responsibilities. A recent graduate of Madison College in Wisconsin, Alexis holds an Associates Degree in Human Services.
