Empowerment Camp 2018

“Thank you leaders for listening, laughing, and being so fun.” “I had so, so, so much fun at camp.”  -Feedback from 2018 campers  Seventeen campers learned new independence skills while making friends and having a blast at Empowerment Camp 2018! Caring and encouraging counselors and nurses motivated campers to take part in a weekend filled with activities, including zip-lining, archery, crafts, candle chats, tie-dyeing t-shirts, talent shows, campfires, and general shenanigans! Transition Booster

This Thursday, June 14th, the University of Cincinnati Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities is hosting a Transition Bootcamp Booster Session on Medicaid Applications and Waiver Services.  Details: June 14, 6:00-8:00 PM at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Office Building (MOB), 3430 Burnet Ave. 5th Floor, Rooms 5.201 & 5.202 This Transition Bootcamp Session will provide information on the Medicaid application/determination process and waiver services for youth and adults with disabilities as they transition through life.
