SBCC is pleased to offer NOURISH, a pilot program teaching nutrition and healthy meal preparation to adults living with spina bifida. Participants will meet on a Tuesday evening in November, February, May, and August at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center in their metabolic kitchen and
- A registered dietitian from Cincinnati Children’s will teach nutrition information known to impact the health of people living with spina bifida.
- Chef Meg from the Culinary Institute at Cincinnati State will give a cooking demonstration highlighting the information learned.
- All will enjoy a delicious and nutritious meal together.
- Participants will receive an insulated carry bag containing the recipe and key ingredients for three servings of the same meal to practice preparing it at home.
